I visited UK Games Expo at the NEC in Birmingham. I made a few purchases and met up with another Anchorite Colin "Spikepit" Green. We also mI have a couple of call ins from Tim Shorts (of Gothridge Manor) and Colin Green (of Spikepit). I have been doing some solo gaming at home in between my regular gaming, one of these has been using Fable Lands, which is one of the "Choose your own adventure" style gaming books.

Lord of the Rings Journeys into Middle earth is a new co-operative boardgame by Fantasy Flight that uses an app on your phone or tablet. I have played it many times and I give you my thoughts. Also released recently was the OGL for the Year Zero Engine the rules that run the Free league games: Forbidden Lands, Tales from the Loop, Mutant Year Zero, Coriolis and the upcoming Alien RPG.
